My name is Daniel Luigi Rossi. I have been a musician for over 12 years, most of that time I spent as a drummer. However, 2 years ago I started releasing my own music under the project name “Breath and Dirt.” About 5 months after releasing that project I won a national contest with a group of friends and became the Freecreditscore.com band, also known as the American Secrets. I have been pretty busy with that project the last few years, but hope to spend this coming year, 2012, recording new music for a solo project under my own name “DL Rossi.”

A little bit more info about me. I am a college drop out who was studying philosophy and religion at a local Christian school here in Rochester Michigan called Rochester college. I left school to pursue a job at Kensington Church, located in Troy Michigan. There I have led for a little over 4 years as the midweek service director. I lead worship there as well.

(I want to make it very clear that any opinions or ideas I express do not reflect those of Kensington church. I love the church, I love my friends and family there, but this site is just about art and ideas, both inside and outside the church.)

In August of 2011, I was diagnosed with cancer. This video is a piece Kensington did on my story. It goes in depth into my diagnosis, as well as my struggles with depression. Hope this speaks to you and helps you understand my story better.

This website is just a way for me to chronicle my journey as an artist and musician and share that journey with people who are interested. I will blog here, share music, videos, and other friends’ art.
